Given the traction of Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign, it is clear that more Americans are enthusiastic about or at least unopposed to the concept of socialism. But what separates the “democratic socialism” that Sanders supports and communism?

TheBlaze founder and radio host Glenn Beck examines the “origins of communism, what it really means and what lurks behind the pleasant label of “democratic socialism” in this four part audio series.

In “Part I. How It’s Marketed“, Beck looks at the partnership of Karl Marx, Frederick Engels and the condensation of their ideas in The Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital.
